Most of these objects are preserved at the Utrecht University Museum. All in all, the University of Utrecht owns: 3,000 horse shoes; 4,000 veterinary medical instruments; 100 metres of zoological historical books; 120 metres of old veterinary books; several hundered objects related to slaughtering and hygiene inspection;; 15,000 wet specimens of helminths, arthropods; 3,000 wet and dry anatomical and pathological preparations; 500 other items and drawings; 1,500 items of faculty history.
