Description:
The Botanic Garden from Cluj is a scientific and teaching institution, subordinate to the Babes-Bolyai University. Alexandru Borza founded it in 1920, on a fourty-acre land with different geological configurations, suitable for growing plants from various continents. There are over 10,000 specific types of plants, an important number compared to other botanic gardens. This has made the Botanic Garden from Cluj become one of the most prestigious institutions of this kind in the world.
