Description:
The University Museum provides visitors of all ages with a variety of educational experiences that range from the scholarly and esoteric to the popular. The permanent collection has grown steadily through continuous archaeological investigations and acquisition to more than 5,000 items. These items constitute a vast and irreplaceable resource for studying the cultural heritage of Jeonbuk Province. The museum encourages the public to trace the regional history back to the Paleolithic era. The museum's permanent collection includes ceramics, classic and folk paintings, rare books, manuscripts, textiles, stone stools, earthenware, porcelain, farming tools and calligraphy, all of which are collected from the various periods of the ancient kingdoms. These collections are displayed in 8 different exhibition rooms.
