The University of the West Indies at Mona

Description:
The University of the West Indies Geology Museum (UWIGM) is comprised of a Main Exhibit Gallery and a Collection Storage Facility. There are approximately 15,000 items in the collections and represents the largest collection of rocks, minerals and fossils in the English-speaking Caribbean. These items have been collected primarily from Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean, but there are also several items collected from other countries.
