Description:
Patras University Science and Technology Museum is acquiring, conserving, researching the traces of the sciences and technology starting from those sciences held in Patras University Departments. Those traces are utensils, tools, machines, technical or other equipment (laboratories, pharmacies, factories etc.), archives, photographic material, cards, books and other accompanying material, which will be communicated and exhibited in a new building for purposes of study, education and enjoyment. (According to article 2 of the ICOM Statutes, par. 1). All research, educational and other activities and programmes of the Museum are in collaboration with similar activities and programmes of the University.

The new Science and Technology Museum building is placed in the center of the University Campus, just in front of the Conference Center and beside the University Cafe-Restaurant. The first part of the building is ready and development of exhibitions is in process.
