All of the animal exhibits from the public part of the museum (over 1000!) can be searched electronically.

Description:
The scientific collections consist of about 800 mammals, 3300 birds, 1900 reptiles and amphibians, 3000 insects and 24000 molluscs.

These specimens are kept in different rooms under controlled climatic conditions according to their type (skins, furs, stuffed animals or animals stored as wet specimens).
