Description:
The Herbarium of the Department of Plant Sciences, Tel Aviv University, holds the National Collections of lower plants of Israel and those of aquatic plants: Higher Fungi, Lichens and Marine and Freshwater Plants.

In addition it also has: 1) A dendrochronological Collection, reference collection containing many samples of trees. 2)An Archaeo-Botanical Collection of plant material found in numerous archaeological excavations in Israel.
