Description: The Museum of Natural History and Archaeology has collections and exhibitions dealing with natural history and cultural history. The main archaeological exhibition displays finds from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Viking period. A separate exhibition deals with medieval Trondheim, and there are also exhibitions concerned with the culture of the southern Sami people, and ecclesiastical art and church furnishings up to about 1700.
The natural history exhibitions display birds, fish, mammals and minerals. Northern European habitats are also presented in a separate natural environment display.
