Description:
The collection of dermatological waxes was safeguarded by Professor Lachapelle. Professor Benoît Lengelé valorized it by placing 90 pieces in 3 glass cabinets which are located in the Anatomy's Service hall. The complete collection counts 169 pieces. They have different origines, yet, a collaboration with Hospital Saint-Louis of Paris and the University of Breslau seems evident.

The sizes of these waxes are variable according to the pathologies and to the parts of the body which are represented. The mouldings represent adult's pathologies. The classification is concise, the first identifications were left on the pieces, but their principle of regrouping is the pathology, its different forms and evolutions.

The collection's inventory is online and the pieces can be visualized.
