The University of Cantabria considers its Printmaking Collection as a part of its research and teaching facilities, just as the books are. That is the reason for the collection standing as an special reference section into the University Library.

Description:
The UC Printmaking Collection started in 2001, and it has reached more than 700 items nowadays, since it welcomes about 40 prints a year. Those new works are showed in the University Gallery when the new course begins. Every show pays special attention to an specific event in the Spanish modern history of printmaking. All the exhibitions can be rebuilt from the web page, as well as their catalogues can be downloaded in PDF format.
