Description:
The University of Zurich's Paleontological Museum exhibits one of the world's most important collections of marine reptiles and saltwater fish from the middle Triassic Period, about 230 to 240 million years ago. These and the extraordinarily well-preserved and scientifically valuable fossils from Monte San Giorgio (southern Ticino) form the core of the Museum’s collection.
