The collections of instruments are placed under the responsability of the observatory. The access to the heritage of the astronomical observatory is managed by the planetarium (Jardin des sciences).

Description:
The heritage of the observatory consists of a set of buildings, dating from the end of the 19th century and illustrating the richness of scientific architecture, and a collection of 200 historical instruments. The oldest apparatus can be related to the first observatory, created during the 17th century. But most of them illustrate the activity of the observatory from the late 19th century to the middle of the 20th century.
