The background of Iranian Medical History came back to ancient times. The oldest Iranian Medical Education Center was established in 3rd century at Gondi Shapour University as the famous university at that time. It has been tried to show relevant tools of pre-history up to contemporary time as the historical process of medical sciences in Iran Followings are different parts of this museum: Ancient ethnology, anthropology, handwritten notes & documents, veterinary science history, ophthalmology history, dentistry history, pharmaceutics history & pharmaceutical herbs. This paper intends to focus only on two important tools of medical museum as the important items related to Iranian Medical History. One of the important notes of Iranian Medicine History in 5000 BC has been presented in ancient ethnology part as the most important department of the museum. It is the skull of a 13 years old girl which has been found at South East of Iran (Shahr-i sokhta Zabol). It shows the first surgery procedures with complete knowledge of disease and treatment method. The other item is a book under the title of Tebbe Mansouri. This book is written by Razi. Razi was the founder of alcohol and the first person who has presented different guidelines for eyes diseases. The mentioned book is about clinical medicine and the oldest version of it throughout the world. The oldest tools and instruments at ophthalmology department belonged to the first Iranian modern ophthalmologist who could make an eyeglass in Iran for the first time. The first collection of modern pharmacy imported to Iran has been presented at Pharmacology department. There are a lot of different pharmaceutical herbs at different saloons. These types of herbs are introduced with relevant bariums of growth throughout Iran.
