Description:
Shandong University Museum is one of the earliest comprehensive university museums in China. It was founded in 1995 and is mainly composed of four parts, including the culture relic exhibition; the history of Shandong university exhibition, the calligraphy and painting exhibition and the special exhibition. The museum aims to show the achievements of our university and cultural charm to the world. We have about ten thousand visitors every year as a student quality education base and a band of international exchange and cooperation.

There are about thirty thousand culture relics in the museum, including potteries, porcelains, bronzes, gold and silver wares, stones, jades, oracle bones, tiles, epitaph, coins, calligraphy and paintings. Most of them were discovered by the faculties and students of the department of archeology in ench excavation, while some were collected by the museum or were donated by friends since 1950.
