Description:
This collection reflects the history of the University.

The Museo Social Argentino was founded on May 23, 1911 on the initiative of Dr. Tomás Amadeo, with the purpose of studying social problems and propose solutions to contemporary society. Inspired its name in the "Musée Social of Paris", the project was based in the idea of a place intended to the study of sciences, literature and arts. It became a place for intellectuals to share their knowledge and they recognized the need of a cooperation under a scientific discipline.
