Description:
The museum resides on the first floor of the Stanislaw Runge Collegium. The building was built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Poznań fraction of the Rooster Brotherhood. In 1920 the Rooster Brotherhood sold the building to the University of Poznań, which had a Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. In the academic year of 1921/1922 the building was handed over the Department of Agricultural Veterinary Medicine.

In 1951, after higher education had been reorganized, the School of Agriculture became the owner of the building. In 1972 the school was renamed as Agriculturral Academy, and in 2008 as The University of Life Sciences in Poznań. It is the oldest building of the university.

1997 the museum was opened to gather pieces concerning the people connected to the university.
