Description:
The Museum of the Faculty of Earth Sciences of the University of Silesia was established in 1994 and was born out of the passion of the faculty's employees, mainly geologists. Its activity is based on several priorities:

- gathering of geological samples: minerals, fossils, rocks and meteorites;

- facilitating access to the collection through exhibitions and for scientific research;

- educational activity (publications, annual science campus)

- popularization of natural sciences as well as building as positive image of the faculty.
