Description:
The purpose of the North Museum is to generate excitement, curiosity and life-long learning in the natural and physical sciences and technology by offering excellent programs, experiences, exhibits and a regional archive of well-preserved and curated collections to interest both children and adults. The Museum will foster strong community involvement to fulfill this purpose.

From the foundations of our earth to the wonders of space, dinosaurs to Native Americans, hands-on discovery for children to live snakes and turtles, the North Museum offers a universe of fun learning experiences about science and the natural world.

The North Museum has 150.000 specimens and artifacts in its collections. They cover fields as ornithology, botany, geology, mineralogy, paleontology, zoology, antropology, archaeology, ethnology, reptilies, anphibians and others.
