Description:
The ethnografic collection of Genth University include around 4000 items. First acquisitions are made in 1825 in the Java island. The most important part is often coming from West and Centrel Africa (prof. Frans M.Olbrechts) but include also pieces from Oceany, North and South America.

Little more than 300 items are permanently exhibited since octobre 200 in "'t Pand" building.
