Description:
The University Museum was established in the early 1950's but it was not until 1979 that the scheme of the new museum building materialized. The collection in the museum now numbers some 5,000 items, including ceramics, paintings, and archaeological objects as well as folkloric materials. The museum puts special emphasis on its collection of exhibits dedicated to the history of science. In the museum building there are 4 floors for exhibition, a museum library and a seminar room for 150.
