Description:
The entomological collection conserved in the conservatory of the Pure and applied Zoology Unit were initiated early in the Faculty's history. However, they acquired their actual importance in the '60, following the Prof. Jean Leclercq and Prof. Charles Gaspar initiative. They are now under the responsibility of the Prof. Eric Haubruge. They grew up very quickly due to the high level of scientific activity of several collaborators. These collections count now 1000000+ specimens and include hundreds of types series.
