Description:
The Victoria Museum of Egyptian Antiquities is one of the main sections of the Uppsala University Museum. The Egyptian collections contain a broad variety of antiquities, including coffins, stelae, pottery, ushebtis etc. - many of which were received as state gifts from the Egyptian Antiquities Service during the beginning of the last century. Other objects were donated by members of the Swedish Royal Family, especially the late queen Victoria.
