Description:
University museum containing archaeological, ethnographic, historical and ecclesiastic collections relating to the Bicol region. The museum is divided into four sections: the Central Gallery, the Filipiniana, the Archival Library and the Founder's Memorabilia. The Central Gallery consists of the pictorial evolution of the University of Nueva Caceres from the then Nueva Caceres Colleges. The Filipiniana section contains items and artifacts concerning Philippine History. It is divided into four periods in Philippine History- Ancient Philippines, Spanish Period, American Period and the Free Philippines Period. The Archival Library contains valuable research materials especially of Bicolandia's past- history, culture and writings. The Founder's Memorabilia displays a collection of items which focuses on his achievements to honor the life and struggle of a man who is a paragon of outstanding leadership and service (from the Museum's website).
