Description:
The Ukrainian Folklore Archives are an active and growing resource at the University of Alberta, which is recognized as the largest centre for Ukrainian studies in North America. A unique collection of books, manuscripts, recordings and artifacts, the Archives preserves the songs, stories, art and aspects of daily life to reveal much about traditional and current Ukrainian culture. The Archives are used for teaching and study, and the local community frequently uses it for research in genealogy and cultural traditions.
