Variables

{appdir} = /var/www-umc
  application installation directory
{appdb} = umcc

Pack & Go Instructions
======================

1. Review the section "Usernames & Passwords" of {appdir}/INSTALLATION.
   All the necessary usernames and passwords should be available.
  
2. Export the MySQL databases {appdb} (UMAC CMS), {txpdb} (Newsblog, optional), 
   {wikidb} (MediaWiki UMAC, optional) each into a file so that each file can be 
   used as SQL-Importscript when installing the CMS on another server. Each file 
   name should indicate the database name.
   
   Example: [shell]: mysqldump --opt {appdb} > {appdb}.sql
            [shell]: mysqldump --opt {txpdb} > {txpdb}.sql
            [shell]: mysqldump --opt {wikidb} > {wikidb}.sql
  
3. Archive the contents of {appdir} with an archive program.
   
   Example: [shell]: cd {appdir}
            [shell]: tar cvzf umac.tgz *

4. Review the section "Files and Database Dumps" of {appdir}/INSTALLATION and
   adjust the file and archive names if necessary.

5. Gather all the files created so far for transport to the new location. Add
   {appdir}/INSTALLATION and maybe a note with additional and contact 
   information.
